GIVING DIGEST: Mbarara Christians and Muslims Unite for 2025 Qadhi Run

In a beautiful spirit of generosity and unity, the Mbarara Muslim community is inviting everyone, across faiths, to come together for the 4th edition of the Mbarara Qadhi Run under the theme, "Run for the Voice of Faith."

More than just a race, the Qadhi Run is a bold act of giving: a fundraiser to establish the first Muslim radio station in western Uganda. This station will not only promote the Islamic faith but will also become a beacon for development projects, civic education, and community empowerment.

Leaders like Mbarara’s Assistant Resident City Commissioner, Polly Katwire, have called on Christians and all residents to support the run, emphasizing that it transcends religious boundaries.
The upcoming station will also amplify government programs like Operation Wealth Creation and the Parish Development Model, ensuring that communities stay informed, included, and empowered.

How You Can Be Part of It:

1.      Buy a running kit or sponsor the event.

2.      Join the run at Global High School Grounds, Mbarara City, this Sunday.

3.      Help the team reach their UGX 50 million goal for this historic cause.

With leaders, security teams, and the Uganda Red Cross on board, the Qadhi Run promises to be a landmark moment of faith, generosity, and shared purpose.
The event will be graced by dignitaries including Deputy Speaker of Parliament Thomas Tayebwa and other notable guests, underscoring its significance to the wider Ugandan community.

When we give, we don't just build projects, we build bridges. Join the Mbarara Qadhi Run and be part of something bigger than yourself.
