Our Networks

In a bid to fulfill our mission and vision as CivSource Africa, we decided to join hands and heads with sister organizations and networks because we quickly recognized that we cannot do this work alone. Aside from that, we knew that there are those that have made great strides related to the work we are doing on philanthropy in Africa who could hold our hands and help us navigate these waters.

These are the networks that we belong to;

Worldwide Initiatives for Grantmaker Support (WINGS)

WINGS is a network of 130 philanthropy associations, networks, academic institutions, support organizations, and funders, in 45 countries around the world whose purpose is to strengthen, promote and provide leadership on the development of philanthropy and social investment. WINGS gives voice to the many cultures of giving and provides its members and other participants with information, knowledge, and peer exchange.

Our vision is of a strong, global philanthropic community that strives to build more equitable and just societies around the world. more
