Stanbic Bank and Enjuba collaborate for good.

Giving Digest; In the past year, the FlexiPay team at Stanbic Bank Uganda provided assistance to the Suubi School in Masaka, which is affiliated with the Watoto Schools. In continuation of their commitment, a delegation from Stanbic Bank visited the community and held discussions with Dr. Ibrahim, the In Charge at the Health Facility. Dr. Ibrahim emphasized that with the appropriate knowledge, some of the cases they deal with could be managed at home by the mothers in the community.

Recognizing the potential solution, the team from Stanbic Bank connected Dr. Ibrahim with the Enjuba team, specifically Lizza Marie Kawooya and Aaron Kirunda, who have published a book titled ‘Where there is no Doctor’ that serves to address the knowledge gap identified by Dr. Ibrahim. The Enjuba team recently delivered 280 copies of their book to Dr. Ibrahim, a gesture that Stanbic Bank expresses their deepest gratitude for. This collaborative effort highlights the importance of recognizing and utilizing available expertise and resources to solve local issues effectively.
