BARYARUHA FOUNDATION DONATES 1,700 TEXTBOOKS TO SCHOOLS IN BUSHENYI ISHAKA MUNICIPALITY
Giving Digest: Mr. Marvin Baryaruha, the West Ankole Diocesan chancellor, organized a donation event through his Baryaruha Foundation. A total of 1,700 copies of textbooks were distributed to 38 primary schools and 18 secondary schools in Bushenyi Ishaka municipality. Mr. Baryaruha expressed his belief that education is the backbone and steppingstone for societal development, emphasizing the importance of supporting young children in achieving their dreams through improved access to educational resources. The donation of textbooks is a significant step in addressing the challenges faced by schools, such as inadequate resources caused by the recent introduction of a new curriculum by the Ministry of Education.
