Lack and shortage of menstrual education and the stigma attached to periods means girls don’t feel comfortable talking about it with their parents, teachers, or even peers. Hope Nankunda has for the past seven years spearheaded the campaign to support teenagers through school and to demystify the myths surrounding menstruation.
