Giving Digest: Giving Back: A Family Rallies Support for Teresa Babies’ Home
Giving can begin with a family choosing to open its table to others. In July, Mathias Katamba and his family hosted a fundraising dinner in support of Teresa Babies’ Home, bringing together friends and well-wishers to contribute towards the care of children at the home.
The support will make a difference in the lives of more than 50 babies currently entrusted to the Home, while also strengthening its ability to rescue and care for more children in the years ahead. Katamba also recognised Fr. Raymond Kalanzi, alongside the mothers and staff whose daily care provides the children with safety, dignity and hope.
