Giving Digest: Rallying Together to Give the Gift of Life

The excitement of the 2026 Pearl of Africa Uganda Rally was extended beyond motorsport through a blood-donation campaign at Mwesigwa Resort in Mbarara. Pamoja Uganda joined Women in Motorsport Uganda and the Uganda Blood Transfusion Services to mobilise rally participants and members of the public to donate blood and support patients who depend on timely transfusions. The initiative demonstrates how sporting events can use their visibility and community spirit to inspire practical acts of generosity and contribute to Uganda’s lifesaving blood supply.
