Giving Digest: Honouring Mothers with Practical Support

Faridah Nakazibwe partnered with Softcare Uganda to celebrate Mother’s Day by supporting mothers and young girls in Masaka and Sembabule. During the outreach, the team visited new mothers in the maternity ward at Masaka Regional Referral Hospital and distributed essential hygiene products, including diapers and sanitary pads. The initiative demonstrates how giving practical everyday necessities can ease the pressures faced by mothers, promote dignity and remind women that their contribution to families and communities is recognised and valued.
