Giving Digest: Giving Dignity, Comfort and Mobility

At St. Charles Lwanga Bukerere Cerebral Palsy Day Care and Rehabilitation Centre, giving took the form of greater comfort, dignity and independence for children with cerebral palsy. The Rotary Club of Sonde, in partnership with Uganda’s Ministry of Health, donated wheelchairs and launched a shaded area where the children can safely rest, play and gather away from the sun. The initiative shows how thoughtful giving can respond to practical needs while creating spaces in which every child feels supported and included. Read more about the initiative on X.
