Giving Digest | Beyond the Hair, the Gift of Being Seen
Four women every month. Complimentary hair care. One thoughtful initiative recognising that generosity can begin with helping someone feel seen, valued and cared for.
Through Seen Beyond the Hair, Bomb Hair Studio is launching a monthly programme offering four women full-service hair care at no cost. Beginning in November, the initiative will prioritise single mothers who have recently lost their jobs or are unemployed, giving them an opportunity to receive professional care and enjoy a few hours devoted entirely to themselves.
Each month, the programme will extend its generosity to a different group of women, including caregivers, women rebuilding their lives after divorce and women experiencing homelessness. Beyond offering hair services, the initiative invites others to contribute products, food, professional services and thoughtful gestures, creating opportunities for a wider community to participate in giving.
