GIVING DIGEST: Street Iftar Unites Kampala in Faith and Fellowship
On Monday, the heart of Kampala lit up with generosity as the fourth edition of the Street Iftar Dinner brought together Muslim faithful, community leaders, and dignitaries for a shared moment of prayer and breaking fast. Graced by Supreme Mufti Sheikh Muhammad Galabuzi and Mayor Salim Uhuru, the event embodied the spirit of unity, compassion, and community.
According to Islamic teachings, those who help others break their fast share equally in the reward, and this gathering reflected that divine reciprocity. With food platters flowing and prayers rising, the streets became sacred ground for togetherness.
Because in giving, we are blessed. In sharing, we are one.
May this season continue to inspire acts of faith, fellowship, and kindness.
