Giving Digest: During a donation event, the Esmaili Community expressed their appreciation for the Aga Khan's contribution to the construction of the Kibuli Mosque, which has led to the establishment of various institutions like the Kibuli hospital, schools, and other social services. The Esmaili Community, represented by Ms Jasmin Halani, emphasized their belief in brotherhood rather than racial segregation, and their commitment to showcasing their work through programs that promote environmental campaigns, tree planting, food donations, and health campaigns. The chairman of Outreach Council Uganda, Mr Azhar Bandali, highlighted the importance of community service and teaching children about helping others. As part of their activities, the Esmaili Community has fed 1,000 families this year, providing essentials such as clothes, milk, beans, and cooking oil. Their donations extend beyond Kampala, reaching communities in Arua and Lira during the holy month of Ramadan.
