The Experience
Dear CivSource Team,
I bring you greetings from Gulu. It's hot, it's breezy but beautiful as ever. The retreat healed me!!! I found family in the sisters I met, the love from Civsource team and most importantly Hope's teaching.
I went to the retreat amidst the worst bout of depression ever. I was hurting. I had given up. Looking into my life in the past helped me confront my deepest, darkest fears. The journey is just beginning but I feel tremendously better. My work has greatly improved. My relationships with friends and even strangers is better. My mum hugged me and I broke down and cried. PS. I hadn't cried since 2014. I feel very good right now. The best I have ever been.

Women need that retreat. All women need it. I pray that you find the funds to support as many women as you can. I will remain forever grateful for the opportunity I was given. I will do you proud Jackie.
