According to their LinkedIn page, the Rolex Initiative-Africa, Jonah is quoted to say that, ‘The young people of Bunga market are energetic and willing to learn. We mentored them around issues of financial inclusion with the help of our new customized handbooks called "Ebalirira Yange" to aide business statements.’ This is a customized record-keeping tool for rolex vendors written in Luganda and translated into English.
The young ‘rolexprenuer’ like they are fondly referred to, expounded on their training. ‘Secondly, we taught hygienic meal making with the use of clean energy such as liquid petroleum gas (LPG), waste development, and disposal. We also discussed packaging and the advantages of using modern kitchen wear such as aprons, chef hats, gloves, etc. Lastly, we spoke about how value-added food processing can lead to the creation of products like vegetable and beef rolexes. Some of these recipes were new and unheard of by many of the vendors. We are coming to your town next month powered by Weyonje and Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities-Uganda.’
