In this episode, we talk to Joyeux Mugisho, a refugee, an advocate for the rights of children and a champion against climate change. He has taken on the challenge of addressing the climate crisis through the Gigatonne Challenge - a decentralized global strategy with a focus on equity. In just 48-60 months, this challenge has the potential to completely change the trajectory of the climate crisis. Teams from communities all over the world, including Uganda, are taking part by focusing on composting food waste, transitioning to zero-emissions transportation, food production, renewable energy, and afforestation.
