A Seed, A Forest, A Pathway
A Seed, A Forest, A Pathway reflects on the East Africa Human Rights Program as a transformative journey of shared learning, reflection, and action. Held in Arusha through the partnership of Equitas and Tusonge Community Development Organization, the program brought together human rights defenders, grassroots leaders, advocates, and changemakers to deepen their understanding of human rights, gender equality, climate justice, and social transformation. Through CivFund’s accompaniment approach, the experience became a shared pathway for learning with grassroots partners, strengthening the belief that knowledge grows deepest when it is carried back into communities. From quiet forest walks to the development of intentional pathways for action, the reflection reminds us that human rights education is not meant to remain in a room; it is a seed planted to move, multiply, and transform communities.
