On September 30th, 2022, CivSource Africa held the Gathering of Givers Africa Edition. The Gathering of Givers is an annual event that seeks to convene and foster connection and collaboration amongst philanthropists. The theme of this year’s occasion was Earth Calling: Responding with Seeds of Generosity, a call to recognize and celebrate climate philanthropy.
The in-person occasion was graced by Dr. Musonda Mumba, the chief guest whose keynote address honored those that had been impaction with climate inaction and hit the ground running to address it. Given that this was a hybrid event, it was streamed live on YouTube and broadcast on NTV from 11am to 1pm with 60 in-person participants and over 7,400 viewers on YouTube. Read more
