On October 25th during the 4th Annual National Women’s Week, CivSource Africa will host a session on “Supporting Movement Building in Uganda: Experiences & Reflections from Development partners and NGO leaders”.

The 2-hour parallel session is aimed at providing opportunity for representatives from development partners, women NGOs and civil society to reflect on strategies and interventions to build or strengthen a more inclusive women’s movement in Uganda.

The discussion will be framed around strategies and lessons in relation to the three key aspects of a movement i.e. Base building, Structure and Strategy.

The Uganda Women’s Network (UWONET) brings together civil society organisations and partners in Uganda and around the world for the annual convening.  The theme of the week is “Crossing Barriers, Building Bridges: Unleashing Collective Power”.  The Goal of the National Women’s Week is “A vibrant and influential women’s movement advocating for gender equity and equality”

It’s October 25th, Hotel Africana Sezibwa Hall, 9-11am. Join us for the event.
