The African Water Facility, a special project preparation fund established by the African Ministers Council on Water (AMCOW) and hosted by the African Development Bank, has introduced a new financing window dedicated to improving sanitation in urban cities across Africa. The Africa Urban Sanitation Investment Initiative aims to enhance urban access to safely managed sanitation, addressing the pressing needs of the continent's rapidly growing urban populations.
