STANDING on a small cleared patch of ground, set as a meeting place for residents of Kashimpa rural area in Rufunsa district, Laston Singandu made a compelling case for a grocery shop project his team of youth intend to start running. The young man clearly explained the project outline, detailing the different activities required and who among the group would be responsible for assigned tasks. His audience included residents of Kashimba area, members of the Zambia Governance Foundation (ZGF), and four peer review members from Chisamba, Chongwe, Namalongo and Kashimpa area, whose purpose was to offer feedback on the viability of the project based on experiences from their regions.
