AI-powered Philanthropy & Impact Investing Platform Accelerating social impact in developing countries.

 

Deep Knowledge Philanthropy, a subsidiary of Deep Knowledge Group, launched of its AI-powered Philanthropy & Impact Investing Platform. The platform will utilize the power of big data and analytics to maximize social impact in regions of the world that are still in the process of developing.

The interactive platform features a database of open-source information on over 440 charitable organizations and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), as well as 600 businesses with a social mission and 660 impact investors. Additionally, the platform offers data and analytics about developing nations, with a particular emphasis on the African continent, through a module known as the African Charities Dashboard. The purpose of this initiative is to encourage transparency and accountability among key stakeholders in philanthropy and impact investing, as well as to foster collaboration among these key stakeholders.

The platform offers a number of interactive mindmaps, which provide a visualization of the philanthropic and impact investing sectors according to industry and geographical location. Users are also given the ability to conduct advanced searches by employing a filter that takes into account multiple parameters.

The African Charities Dashboard is a cutting-edge piece of software that provides an analysis of the charitable endeavors and the resulting social impact in Africa. It examines the charitable giving and impact investing ecosystems in their entirety, providing a comparative analysis of the various charitable organizations, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and impact startups operating across the continent. The African Charities Dashboard was developed using a comprehensive database that includes more than 350 charitable organizations and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), 380 startups with a focus on social impact, and 140 impact investors with active businesses in Africa.

Later on in 2018, Deep Knowledge Philanthropy plans to launch its Global Philanthropy & Impact Investing Platform. This platform will offer a global, interactive, open-source database of more than 2,000 charitable organizations, 2,000 nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), and 3,000 businesses with a social mission.
