Giving Digest: Protecting People, Wildlife and Frontline Rangers
Conservation Through Public Health has strengthened Ebola preparedness and wildlife surveillance in the Bwindi Conservation Area through a donation of essential equipment to the Uganda Wildlife Authority. The contribution, which included infrared thermometers, smartphones, solar power banks and 450 sets of rain gear, will support health screening, ranger communication, field data collection and the monitoring of mountain gorillas and other wildlife.
