What if sports could grow more than athletes?
At the second annual Sport Climate Action Gala, young champions from across Uganda came together to compete, and to give. Held at Twinbrook Stadium, this Under-10 and Under-12 event wasn’t just about football, netball, swimming, and basketball. It was about teamwork, climate consciousness, and playful purpose.

Twinbrook Academy took top honours in the Under-12 category, while Namagabi UMEA won the Under-10 championship, each school receiving UGX 2 million and medals for all participants. But the most meaningful prize? Trees. Every school received seedlings to plant, turning victories into legacies and proving that even young players can leave a green footprint.
