More than 500 runners surged from the starting line at Legends Rugby Club, making the 2nd edition of the Legends Marathon a powerful show of community spirit, gratitude, and hope for Uganda’s sporting legends.
This event wasn’t just a race, it was an act of giving back. It was about honouring those who have carried Uganda’s pride across global stages and reminding every generation that recognition is a fundamental human need.
How the Legends Marathon is Changing the Game:

Strengthening Bonds: Sharing the road with Olympians, world champions, and national legends created a moment of unity, humility, and celebration, a reminder that sport connects us all.
Vision for the Future: With goals to reach 1,000 runners next year and dreams of expanding to other regions, the Legends Marathon is growing into a national movement, one step, one story, one runner at a time.
