GIVING DIGEST: Mwiri Old Boys Raise UGX 117M to Rebuild Legacy and Inspire Futures

In a powerful show of unity and pride, the Mwiri Old Boys’ Association (MOBA) has raised over UGX 117 million to construct a landmark gate at Busoga College Mwiri, one of Uganda’s oldest and most prestigious schools. More than just bricks and metal, this gate will stand as a symbol of heritage, excellence, and the enduring spirit of Mwiri.

Beyond the gate, part of the funds will go towards supporting bright but disadvantaged students, ensuring that the school’s legacy isn’t just preserved, but paid forward. With alumni that include national leaders and royalty, MOBA is reigniting the flame of greatness and giving the next generation a reason to dream.

Legacy is not what we leave behind, it’s what we build together.
Here’s to the boys of Mwiri, building futures one stone at a time.
