A culture-rooted destination marathon in Mbarara that frames sport as a platform for health, tourism, local pride, and community impact.

Scheduled for 28 March 2026 in Mbarara, Uganda.
Why it matters
This edition has been positioned around community empowerment and a smarter, cleaner city, including intentional support for women who sell goods along the roadside.
Ways to give and get involved
Register and run: 42km, 21km, 10km, 5km, and a 1km kids run option.
Sponsor a runner or a community team: cover registration, kits, transport, hydration, and basic race-day needs.
In-kind support: water, first aid, sanitation and waste management support, visibility materials for informal traders.
Volunteer: route marshals, medical support coordination, hydration points, crowd guidance.
The inaugural edition in 2025 framed participation as support for children’s education and healthcare through the Gaga Kids Foundation.
