Different expressions. Shared possibility. One Galaxy.

Between April and June, the CivSource Africa Galaxy showed up everywhere, community gatherings, leadership conversations, funding tables, creative spaces, classrooms, and conversations behind microphones. One thread kept surfacing: people building the institutions, relationships and ideas that stronger communities and a more generous Africa depend on.

Quarter Two, by the numbers: 1,204+ people reached, 312 partner engagements, 175 African philanthropy stories gathered, 11 podcast episodes, 86 leaders at the Leaders' Summit, 22 Growers graduated, and 80+ at the groundbreaking of the Oasis.

But The Spotlight goes beyond the numbers. Inside are stories of grandmothers whose generosity holds communities together, grassroots groups helping women secure land, artists finding freedom to create, leaders reflecting on legacy, girls shaping solutions, and young people turning hard experiences into necessary conversations.

Across CivSource Africa, CivFund, CivLegacy Foundation, CivSource Kenya and CivSource South Africa, this is what happens when resources, relationships and local knowledge are given room to work together.
