On 26th July 2023, Porticus Kenya paid CivSource Africa a visit. Porticus Kenya is a part of global philanthropic organization which operates with a mission to strengthen the resilience of communities and empower individuals to take charge of their destinies. CivSource Africa, on the other hand, is an independent advisory organization which seeks to refine the practice and footprint of philanthropy in Africa through authentic civic engagement and stewardship of entrusted resources.
Representing Porticus Kenya were Rita Anyumba and Melvin Asige, while CivSource Africa and CivLegacy Foundation had their esteemed CEO, Malcolm Mpamizo, accompanied by Dr. Caroline Adoch, the Senior Programs Associate, Lillian M. Tamale, the CivFund Lead, Madonna Vicky Ainembabazi, the Philanthropy Program Lead, and Catherine Mugabo, the Leadership Program Lead. Together, we explored opportunities for collaboration and mutual growth, that aligns with both our visions in the philanthropy realm in which we operate. The meeting between Porticus Kenya and CivSource Africa was one steps in the direction of fostering collaborative philanthropy.
